Cape Boho was born out of my passion for design, culture, and creating something meaningful.

I’ve always been inspired by the vibrant colors, textures, and stories woven into African, Eastern, Bohemian, and Gypsie traditions. Combining these influences with a commitment to sustainability, I set out to create something more than just pillows, pieces that bring warmth, style, and purpose into people’s lives.

Each pillow we craft tells a story. They’re not just functional body pillows, they’re a celebration of artistry and heritage, made with care by skilled hands right here in South Africa. From the ethically sourced materials to the unique designs, every detail reflects my love for creativity and my desire to make a difference, whether it’s in a cozy home, a guesthouse, or a luxurious retreat or even the beach!

At Cape Boho, every body pillow is crafted with love and attention to detail. Each piece is handmade by a single artisan, ensuring that no two pillows are ever exactly alike. This personal touch ensures that every pillow reflects the unique blend of art and culture we strive to celebrate. We’re proud to use high-quality, vegan-friendly materials, 100% cotton, durable vegan leather, and handmade wooden beads sourced from Eastern Asia and India. All of our body pillows are designed and meticulously crafted in Darling, a quaint town just outside of Cape Town, where the creative spirit and rich heritage of the Western Cape come to life.

Cape Boho isn’t just about creating beautiful products, it’s about making a difference. We are deeply committed to supporting local artisans and their communities across South Africa, creating job opportunities and helping to preserve age-old craftsmanship. By working with recycled foam in our pillows, we take responsibility for our planet seriously, striving to reduce waste while still offering luxurious comfort.
